Ipswich Middle/High School is seeking a full-time, union, benefited, custodial position.

 

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

 

Candidates must be able to perform all the duties associated with the custodial position, including, but not limited, to the following:

• Cleaning, Washing, Sanitization of entire school grounds such as bathrooms, classrooms, offices etc.
• Mopping, stripping and waxing of various flooring systems
• Vacuuming, shampooing and cleaning of rugs
• Moving and assembly of furniture and equipment
• Handling of trash, recycling and composting
• Perform School grounds and building health and safety checks
• Perform School grounds and building security checks
• Perform minor maintenance including painting, repairs, changing bulbs etc.
• Perform minor fields and grounds maintenance as needed
• Must be able and available for snow removal and other events which may require over time
• Must be able to handle various equipment such as but limited not to the following:
• Floor Machines
• Snow Blower
